This concludes Tom Dill’s colorful authorship of each of SP’s varied routes. This volume inspects SP’s Sunset Route (Pacific Lines) east from Los Angeles to El Paso. Also included is SP’s Golden State Route which extended northeast from El Paso to Tucumcari where it connected with Rock Island Lines.
