Parowozy

The album by Dariusz Brodowski entitled "Parowozy" is a nostalgic journey through time and space to the era of coal and steam. Over two hundred pages present a world that no longer exists - the world of steam railways. It is a journey into the past, to the 80s and 90s, to the last enclaves of steam traction on Polish railways. Poland is the country that has operated steam locomotives in normal, everyday work for the longest time in Europe - in the transport of goods and passengers. The album is the result of the author's many years of wandering around the locomotive sheds, stations and railway routes of our country. It shows photos of authentic steam railways from the end of the Polish People's Republic, when our railways were closely guarded as "state and official secrets" and covered by a total ban on photography. We invite you to a nostalgic journey by steam railway through Poland.
